Here is Yanying Wei (YING, 韦艳莹).

I am a graduate from the School of Economics and Management at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), where I obtained a Master’s degree in Finance. Under the guidance of Professor Zuoji Dong, I delved into the intricacies of financial studies, gaining valuable insights and skills in the field.

Currently, I am a dedicated educator at the School of Digital Economics, Nanning University. As a faculty member in the Financial Technology program, I am passionate about imparting knowledge in various subjects, including Python Programming, Financial Big Data Analysis, and Econometrics.

Research Interests

  • Investigating the Transition to a Low Carbon Economy: Examine the economic impacts of shifting to a low carbon economy, focusing on policies and technologies that reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable growth in urban and rural areas.
  • Utilizing Computational Social Science Methods: Model social behaviors and economic interactions using computational methods, emphasizing sustainability and the adoption of green technologies.
  • Assessing Environmental and Natural Resource Economics: Evaluate economic factors influencing the use and conservation of natural resources, assessing the impact of environmental policies on economic outcomes and sustainability efforts.
  • Applying Data Science to Environmental Economics: Analyze large datasets to identify trends and inform policy decisions in environmental and natural resource economics for sustainable development.

My current research focuses on environmental policy research and simulation. My interest is the application of social computing in environmental economy. I would like to dedicate my talents to this meaningful cause and bring happiness to the society.
